Swimming - week 3

Today was the first time Maya took swimming class with Mike. I was trying to take photos but got in trouble since apparently, it's not allowed, so I had to pretend like I was texting...hence the photos and video aren't very good...that is Maya and Mike with the back towards the camera.
maya is wearing a white cap and Mike looks like his head is smashed with the cap since it is too small. After class, both Mike and Maya were so tired that they napped for a few hours.

Maya is quickly becoming an advanced swimmer. She was bored with the other babies singing songs and splashing and insisted on trying to jump into the water from the ledge. She is also getting very good at kicking, so she holds on to the railing of the pool and floats and kicks! The other highlight is that she went unchi in the pool...but luckily it stayed in her diaper.

Today was Maya's first swimming class. She was pouting at first, but seemed to enjoy it after a while. She especially liked the part when we sang Humpty Dumpty and when Humpty Dumpty fell off a wall, she also falls off the wall and dives into the water. She tried to blow bubbles in the water but it seemed like she was drinking the water....but it was good because she didn't seem afraid to put her face in the water. I couldn't get any photos until after she finished but next time, we will get photos of her swimming.
