Maya and Mom Weekend

Mike was out of town so Maya and I spent the weekend just the 2 of us. We had a few play dates, bbq'd, and went to a street fair. She also had her first dentist appointment and she did very well - no crying at all. She actually even let them clean her teeth. She has recently started calling me "Mom." Not sure what prompted this change.

Maya doesn't go anywhere without her purse these days. Here she is on her way home from school with her purse, her back-pack and her lunch bag.

Sakura Matsuri

We went to the annual Sakura Matsuri but all the sakura were past peak.
